The Lebendwell Brocken is contructed from 5Cr stainless steel and G10 handles . This steel has strong compression and corrosion resistance and then the blade goes through a treatment where the blade surface is stone wash .

The handle material is G10 which is a composite material composed of glass fiber, cloth and epoxy resin. It was originally developed as a material for aircraft and can withstand great force without damage and deformation. G-10 will not be penetrated by water vapor and liquid. It has the characteristics of insulation, acid and alkali resistance. It has the added advantage of not being overly heavy while at the same time, extremely strong.&
