The 1940 publication of Batman #1 is a milestone, presenting in a single issue not only BatmanÕs origin story, but introducing his infamous foes the Joker and Catwoman in their first appearances. The dynamic cover is merely a foretaste of the action in the subsequent pages.

Illustrator Alan Quah and sculptor Mufizal MokhtarÕs homage cranks up the action in Bob Kane and Jerry RobinsonÕs original cover art. Excitingly realised in 3D, a spectacularly detailed pewter Batman swings across GothamÕs rooftops, accompanied by the Boy Wonder Robin on a facsimile of the original cover on bonded porcelain.

Malaysians Quah and Mufizal, artists highly respected by the international comics and collectibles communities, bring the brooding Batman mythos to life.
